A Oil Sketch from Olympic National Park

The only way to capture the color is do it from life.

Although the fog and color kept changing, I am glad I got it in about 1 hour .

Hope I will get time to develop it to a larger painting soon.

唯一能捕捉顏色的方式就是從現場,目前的數位相機捕捉的過程經過太多的轉換,可以很容易的創造"美麗"的相片,但顏色往往失去真實度.

這次帶了油畫工具找到了機會使用,過程中顏色和雲霧一直變化,幸運的在一個小時左右把需要的顏色畫了下來,希望接下來幾天有機會能發展成較大的一幅畫.

Have three paintings in this show, and went to the reception of the show.

I knew some of famous artists before I went there, but this is the first time I talk to them in person, besides there are two original Pino's paintings. The small one is fantastic.

Kevin Beilfuss _ I love his works when I saw it and the original is far better than the web image.
Molly Schmid _ Richard Schmid's Daughter, from the paintings I can totally feel she is the daughter of Richard Schmid. She got same cool brush strokes like his father.
Hsin-Yao Tseng _ A very young 22 years old talent artist from Taiwan.
Ignat Ignatov _ I knew him from the art magazine, and was lucky to talk to him in the show.

一幅十九世紀的風景畫色彩研讀,原作為Gustav Bauernfeind所畫.

挽回了一張

上星期本來想放棄了......臉沒畫好,膚色太紅,馬尾幾乎頂到邊緣,沒有衣服裝飾.
這周同個動作又試了一次,這回並不打算完成臉,但把馬尾改了,除此膚色整個重畫過,動作也調整了一下.
這次忘了帶Painting Mediums,跟?Lora借了Turpentine,以前沒用Turpentine畫過,發現除了洗筆,其實拿來當Painting Mediums也還不錯.
