光源.光.光的遞減.物體受光.受光的遞減與畫的關係[一]

在繪畫上,為什麼線條這麼有效率,還有線條為什麼這麼快速的可以達到效果?
為何一條細線可以體現物體的立體感?
實際上畫本身並不會發光,某些畫作上卻讓人覺得發光的感覺.
光影遞減和物體受光的關係,在畫作上的轉化與呈現,這些都是特別有趣可以深入探討的.

光的遞減與距離的關係並不是線性遞減的,而是平方的遞減.
假設光源在右邊, 圖一中上圖表現的比較接近實際光源的遞減,而圖一底下是線性的遞減.
依照這明度分布:
一幅完整光影的畫,包含了發光體與影子,普遍來說,其中明度較高的50%的變化區域集中在10~25%的面積之中,這代表大多數的面積的明度都相對於整體都是呈現較接近的且都是明度較低的,而描繪高光就顯得特別的重要. 這說明著想在一幅畫中表現出光感,明度的分布方面,多數的面積以明度較低的色彩去表現,在小面積上集中使用明度高且變化較大的色彩. 在400年前, Georges de La Tour, 和Rambrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn就應用在畫作上,而且技巧之高明,就算現代仍是難以超越,但就理論上而言,這種類似的光影感覺是可以建構出來的,不過這只是單純光的遞減,立體物體受光角度在平面上畫作上的明度遞減更不是線性的.

There is much Chinese folklore which includes songs, and tales, and it tells stories of historical, human nature, events, or love. Here is a story about Daji and King Zhou of Shang in 1047 BC. Daji was a favorite concuibine of King Zho of Shang. She is a classic example of how beauty causes the downfall of an empire/dynasty in Chinese culture. She is portrayed as an evil fox spirit in Chinese novel Fengshen Yanyi which is translated as The Investiture of the Gods or The Creation of the Gods, also known as Fengshen Bang.


妲己,殷紂之妃也。紂伐有蘇,有蘇女以妲己,美而辯,用心邪僻,夸比於禮,戚施於貌。紂好酒淫樂,不離妲己,其言是從,所譽者貴之,憎者誅之。

乃使師延作朝歌北鄙之音,北里之舞,靡靡之樂。造鹿臺為瓊室玉門,其大三里,高千尺,七年乃成。厚賦稅,以實鹿臺之財,盈鉅橋之粟,燎焚天下之財,罷苦萬民之力。故狗馬奇物,充牣宮室,以人食獸,廣沙丘苑臺,以酒為池,懸肉為林,男女裸相逐於其間。宮中九市,為長夜之飲。百姓怨望,諸侯有叛者。妲己以為罰輕誅薄,故威不立,乃重為刑辟,為熨斗,以火燒燃,使人舉之手爛,更為銅柱以膏塗之,加於炭火之上,使有罪緣之。紂與妲己,以為大樂,名曰炮烙之刑。

贈與,分享,盜取和道德信仰

這幾個名詞看似有不同的意義和詮釋,實際上的意義卻比字面上來的複雜的多.
又與宗教信仰與道德文化牽扯不清.

思想被盜,這是個普遍的形容,但觀念與思想被某人觀察及了解後導致了某人衍生的行為而感覺自己權益受到損害的這觀念實際上是甚麼時候開始產生的?
被盜者如果沒有意識到或是有意識而無感覺到傷害,這算是盜嗎?
了解這樣的模式而善於利用這觀念的人我們怎麼說?
被盜者若是當下沒意識,而在某些時間後意識到而不悅這樣的事件發生,那又能怎麼做?
而更深入的探討這些問題,只會發現一切都陷入泥沼,然後呢?

這裡有一些例子:

#病毒疫苗與病毒的傳播與地球村
#寵物,結紮,和動物避難所
#車子.安全帶與安全座椅,罰款
#聖誕節(情人節......等),買禮物,收禮物
#砍樹種植草皮,空調與清掃落葉及除草機
#架空工作既得利益者,回到求職學校從事培育工作,比如操弄房產,買賣房屋與培育房屋仲介
#富裕,機器與傭人,健康與健身房
#美國綠卡,受欺壓的外國員工與美國本土員工失業
#著作權起源保護卻讓公司操弄這觀念而從中獲利,於是演變出更複雜的著作權法,然後有著更大的獲利.
......
......
......

這類荒謬卻又是實際生活的事情太多太多了.
這些在人類過去的歷史上都發生過,而衍生了道德與信仰存在的必要性,否則人該怎麼走?

Artists' Job

Beauty is everywhere and if we see so how do we share?

This is like a package which artist take the responsibilities from beginning to the end, such as where to receive the package, when to receive the package, and how to open the package and who should receive this particular item in the package, and than we can ask ourselves did I do a good job ?

A painting is generated?

Recently, there was one digital painting I have done was labeld as "Computer generated". I believed the term of "generated" was not the correct way to describ a painting.

There is a good way of describing the meaning of a painting and I believed this is why people put this in Wikipedia.

Painting is the practice of applying paint, pigment, color or other medium[1] to a surface (support base). The application of the medium is commonly applied to the base with a brush but other objects may be used. In art the term describes both the act and the result which is called a painting......

Photoshop V.S Oil Painting?

Photoshop V.S Oil Painting??

I did one in 2009 and even they were not great paintings but worth to think about it.
I did the digital paintings in one of the session and use it as an guide for the oil painting, and than bring the oil painting for the second session.

They all have their own characteristics.
I don't think it make a lot of sense to compare like this way but it may answer some of the questions which bother me or other artists for a long time.

The answer was if we like the feel of the oil painting, than go ahead to do an oil painting.
If we like the feel of Photoshop painting, than go ahead to do Photoshop painting.

As an artist today, I believe it is our job to figure what is the digital media means to us.

女媧補天

根據《史記·補三皇本紀》記載,水神共工造反,與火神祝融交戰。共工被祝融打敗了,他氣得用頭去撞西方的世界支柱不周山,導致天塌陷,天河之水注入人間。女媧不忍人類受災,於是煉出五色石補好天空,折神鱉之足撐四極,平洪水殺猛獸,人類始得以安居。

Flame Kirin:火麒麟


火麒麟 1.1版本

中國神獸系列之一.


底下麒麟的解釋從Wiki轉載:

麒麟是中國古代神話傳說中的神獸,據說能活兩千年。雄的名麟,雌的名麒,合稱麒麟。性情溫和,不傷人畜,不踐踏花草,故稱為仁獸。

麒麟的形似馬,狀比鹿,尾似牛尾。麒有獨角,麟無角,口能吐火,聲音如雷。中國古代用麒麟象徵祥瑞。相傳只在太平盛世,或世有聖人時此獸才會出現,亦作騏驎。

Flame Kirin:

Kirin is a mythical beast in Chinese culture.
The creature is supposed to be more like horse or deer body with scales and more than two horns but I want it to be more aggressive so I change the body type to be more strong with claw.
It also says the tail is more like bull's tail and can blow fire from the mouth.

Bob以前是在學校教書的,他教過數學,化學,後來主要是教德語,退休這二十年來搬到西雅圖,兼職做模特兒,在一個畫室畫過他一次,他很喜歡,所以傳了封電子郵件給他,收到後很開心的說他願意提供一次免費的.

這張是在一個星期日上午臨時架了一些布簾,設置場景的情況下畫的.
